Looking back on K 2007: Background Report

When trade visitors come to see the latest innovations at the world´s most important fair for plastics and rubber, K in Duesseldorf, then the exhibitors have already successfully mastered veritable odysseys. For almost two months they transport machine components to Duesseldorf and assemble them on-location. The most difficult to construct exhibition piece this year is an injection molding machine with a self-weight of more than 210 tons. It produces complex interior panelings for car doors. At the fair it is to demonstrate its impressive capacities.
