François Minec appointed General Manager at VELOX GmbH

Effective October 1st 2009, François Minec will take up his position as General Manager of VELOX GmbH, and will join the company board with Max Schlenzig and Bernard Goursaud - the company founders and owners. VELOX management functions will be shared between the 3 board members.

A graduate from Ecole Centrale Paris and Master of Science in petrochemistry and plastics from ENSPM (now IFP School), 35 year-old François Minec began his career in thermoplastics within the Technical Support and Development department at the Elf Atochem El Prat de Llobregat Polystyrene plant. He then moved to Stalybridge’s Atofina PS plant as a production engineer and finally to Paris as a Product Manager for Specialty PS.

He joined Hamburg based-VELOX GmbH in September 2004 as Business Development manager for the plastics division, and later became the Plastics Division manager.
