Cristal Global: Price increases for titanium dioxide

Cristal Global (Jeddah / Saudi Arabia; www.cristalglobal.com) plans to raise its prices for anatase and rutile “Tiona” and “Cristal” titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific and Australia.

The increases will take effect from 1 April 2010. Prices will increase by EUR 100/t in Europe and by USD 0.05/lb in the US and Canada. In Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, the increase will be USD 100/t. Cristal said prices will rise by USD 150/t in Asia Pacific and by AUD 100/t in Australia.
