FAS History in short:

FAS was formed in 1978 in Ystad, Sweden. The idea was simple:

Convert plastic bags in-line, directly from an extruder. The goal was to produce plastic bags as easily and profitable as possible. The basic idea has proven to be a winning concept, and the in-line concept has earned FAS substantial market shares, worldwide.

In the beginning, FAS concentrated its business to the European market with UK as it first export market in 1981.

For the North American market machine was license manufactured and distributed under the name of Peco Inc. But since 1999 FAS incorporated Peco Inc., which now functions as FAS' North American subsidiary.
