Macro-M

Macro-M is a company dedicated to the design and production of advanced polymeric materials for the plastics industry.

Macro-M uses a combination of cutting-egde technology and extensive manufacturing know-how to produce its tailor-made functional additives, surface treated nanoclays (halloysite) and nanocomposites.

The basis for all our products is a technology platform for the synthesis of polymeric additives (functional block copolymers). Our additives can have different chemical functionalities and find applications as compatibilizers, dispersants for nanofillers, surface energy modifiers, and chain extenders, among others.

Macro-M's ceramic nanotubes (halloysite) are supplied with different surface treatments to allow them to disperse easily in several media, including polymers.

Our solutions are engineered to meet specific industry needs and can range from additives for plastics, concrete and fibers, to advance nanoclays with controlled release properties. Macro-M has the flexibility to supply a cost effective solution to meet many different market needs.
