Orient Chemical Industries was founded in 1917 in Osaka, Japan. We are the world's largest manufacturer of Nigrosine dyes and their derivatives. Orient is among the world leaders in the manufacuture of colorants and functional materials for plastics and their preparations. We manufacture both dyestuffs and pigment dispersions for the imaging and colorant market segments. Orient has manufacturing and sales offices in Japan and the USA and is ISO 9000 and 14000 certified. Orient is deeply involved in the manufacture of colorants for usage in Laser Transmission Welding of Plastics (LTW) with more than 30 patents in this ever growing field.
