A. Schulman has evolved from being a company known primarily for rubber to one recognized for its leadership in performance plastics. When Alex Schulman founded the company in 1928, it was a rubber processing plant. During the early 1950's, A. Schulman made the transition to plastics, and began what is today one of the most advanced plastics companies in the world. We now have offices, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers in locations around the world.
