IndiTherm

IndiTherm was developed for the acquisition of an accurate temperature spatial resolution which has impact on plastics during the production process. As heat differences affect the characteristics of the material IndiTherm is able to measure 100% of the used material online. Negative features which are caused by large differences in temperature can be detected early & the causes possibly be eliminated. While conventional infrared cameras are able to fade out external heat impacts only partially, IndiTherm provides absolutely reliable results. If - additionally to temperature measurement - a determination of thickness and basis-weight is requested, IndiTherm can be extended to an IndiCam100 solution. This system was also developed for production processes with temperature gradients and allows a 100%-control of the material surface, at rapid production. Furthermore the Spektrometer-Sensor is presented for the first time; it offers a higher measurement accuracy and spatial resolution than sensors known so far.
