With an annual capacity of 780,000 metric tonnes (1.7 billion lbs) Vinnolit is one of the leading PVC producers in Europe and, worldwide, is among the Top 10 in this field. National and international activities of the company are managed from Ismaning (Munich), Germany. Production sites are in Burghausen, Gendorf, Knapsack, Cologne, Schkopau and Hillhouse (UK). Turnover of Vinnolit in 2009 amounted to €647 million. Vinnolit employs 1,500 staff. Managing Directors are Dr Josef Ertl and Dr Ralph Ottlinger.

Vinnolit produces and markets a wide range of PVC products covering all kinds of PVC applications, e.g. in the building & construction sector, in the automobile industry or in the medical sector. Whether the PVC is for window profiles, pipes and fittings, rigid film, flooring, wall covering, technical coatings, automotive sealants or medical applications, Vinnolit is able to offer a suitable product. In the area of PVC products for special applications Vinnolit is the market and technical leader.

Additionally Vinnolit produces and markets intermediates such as caustic soda, vinyl chloride and tin tetrachloride, which are required in the chemical industry as well as in other branches.

The EDC/VCM and PVC know-how of Vinnolit is licensed worldwide by the technology center VinTec.
