GLOBALINE® is the newest addition to PTi's line-up of industry proven Sheet Extrusion Products. GLOBALINE® was developed to fulfill the need in the global market place for a cost effective solution configurable as a compact unit for inline thermoforming or a full length configuration for producing roll stock. Its design emphasizes flexibility; allowing processors to efficiently produce smaller runs of sheet from key materials such as PP, PS, PET and polylactic acid, the bioresin known as PLA. Offering pre-engineered components, lead and installation times are also greatly reduced.

GLOBALINE® is available in two unique platforms distinguished by finished product widths of 1.0 or 1.5 m (40 or 60"). PTi offers several unique roll stand configurations that are used to produce thin thru thick sheet gauges (0.006 – 1.000”/0.15 – 25.0 mm) at narrow thru wide sheet widths (24 – 130”/600 – 3,300 mm). REVOLUTION® roll stands feature linear bearing guided roll actuation with direct acting cylinders positioned on roll shaft centers. TRIDENT® roll stands feature heavy duty pivot arms for roll actuation using a lever advantaged cylinder placement. REVOLUTION® is available in a vertical, horizontal and J-stack arrangement. TRIDENT® is only available in a vertical and J-stack arrangement.

All PTi roll stands are available using either pneumatic or hydraulic roll actuation depending upon the application and roll loads required. AUTOGAP™ is a digital servo hydraulic roll gap positioning option with a repeatability tolerance of less than 0.001” (0.025mm) and is only available in the REVOLUTION® design platform.

PTi leads the industry in control automation. The TITAN® brand of machine controls is by far the best control system available. There are 3 control platforms available with a PTi extrusion system, basic PLC controls for speed, interlock and temperature PID coordination; TITAN® PLC controls with basic recipe, trending and other extended features; and the advance featured TITAN® Plus controls with expanded data logging, voice annunciation, VIDEOGAP™ and more!

All PTi extrusion systems come standard with the base PLC control system. Each of the available control platforms includes a color touch screen operator interface(s) as the primary man-machine interface (MMI).
