HOS-Technik High-Performance Additives and Resins
HOS-Technik produces high-temperature resins based on BMI and PBI, maleimide monomers and reactive diluents. The production range includes Bismaleimides (HOMIDES) and Polybenzimidazole (HOZOLE).
The monomer HOMIDES can be used as cross-linking agents for rubber, in formulations for adhesives, as basic elements for the production of bismaleimide resins and for the preparation of formulations for the RTM and hot-melt technique.
The high-temperature resins HOMIDE 250, 400, , 801, 802 and 806 are thermosetting reactive prepolymers. The main fields of application include the production of laminates, composites, moulded parts, special diamond and CBN wheels.
Products made from HOZOLE are non-flammable and show excellent high-temperature stability up to 540°C (1004°F). HOZOLE is used to make fibres, component parts and films.
