WIS Kunststoffe GmbH hat von der U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ein offizielles Schreiben (Prenotification Consultation, PNC No. 3282) erhalten, das die Eignung des firmeneigenen Recyclingverfahrens bestätigt. Damit wurde bestätigt, dass das hergestellte recycelte Polypropylen (rPP) für den Kontakt mit Lebensmitteln geeignet ist.

Die FDA bestätigt, dass das rPP von WIS sein PCR-Material zur Herstellung von Artikeln verwendet werden darf, die mit allen Lebensmitteltypen unter den Bedingungen E bis G gemäß den FDA-Regularien in Kontakt kommen.

Damit erfüllt WIS Kunststoffe die höchsten internationalen Anforderungen für den Einsatz von rPP in Lebensmittelanwendungen und stärkt seine Position als innovativer Anbieter nachhaltiger Kunststofflösungen.

WIS Kunststoffe GmbH has received an official letter (Prenotification Consultation, PNC No. 3282) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirming the suitability of the company's proprietary recycling process. This confirms that the recycled polypropylene (rPP) produced is suitable for contact with food.

The FDA confirms that WIS's rPP PCR material may be used to manufacture articles that come into contact with all types of food under conditions E to G in accordance with FDA regulations.
