Für den 1. Juni 2012 hat Kraton Polymers (Houston / Texas / USA; www.kraton.com) höhere Preise für Styrol-Blockcopolymere angekündigt.

Das US-Unternehmen will sämtliche SIS- und SIBS-Polymere und -Compounds in der Region Europa, Afrika und Naher Osten um 250 EUR/t verteuern und in Nord- und Südamerika um 330 USD/t oder 0,15 USD/lb. Für Kunden aus der Region Asien-Pazifik plant Kraton Aufschläge von 200 USD/t für alle SIS-Polymere und -Compounds. Für April hatte Kraton bereits umfangreiche Preiserhöhungen für Styrol-Blockcopolymere bekannt gegeben
