With the new WELDPLAST S1 compact extrusion welder, you can achieve perfect seam quality with plate thicknesses of 4 to 12 mm and a maximum output power of 0.8 kg / 1.8 lbs. per hour (PVC: up to 1.15 kg / 2.5 lbs. per hr.) The double-sided, twist-free wire intake can work with 3 to 4 mm welding rod. Integrated LED lighting, plus the innovative operating panel, are the perfect ways to monitor the process of welding all typical kinds of materials (such as PE, PP, PVC, PA, PVDF or ECTFE) – at all times. The ergonomic design, which offers several grip positions and holding options, allows you to work in comfort in areas that are difficult to access.
NOVOLAS Basic AT is optimized for the integration into production lines and manufacturing cells. The laser system can easily be configured for various requirements, due to their consequent modular design. Almost any welding concept can be realized with the different diode lasers and optic modules. The mutually matched components provide high process stability as well as cost-saving production. The use of multiple laser and optic modules in a single system enables an efficient way to increase throughput which also helps reducing costs.

Thanks to the direct transmission of power to a thin welding wedge, the wedge can react to changes in the welding process in a fraction of a second. The welding speed can be changed during the process, just like when using a sewing machine. Even complex contours can be welded as easy as child's play. It is very energy efficient because only a thin wedge plate is heated rather than the entire metal wedge. At 30 meters per minute and with minimum energy requirements, various thermoplastics such as PVC, PE, PU, PP and many others can be welded to each other. The innovative technology guarantees the best seams possible – not only visually, but also qualitatively (e.g. with regard to its strength). Sensitive materials, which are often used in the advertising industry, can be welded just as well and with equally high quality as roundings and curves.
