Laser Direct Structuring Additives (LDS Additives)
Laser Direct Structuring allows the assembly of electronic components and circuitry directly on a polymeric or ceramic carrier. The Laser Direct Structuring additive has a key function in the polymer to provide the basis for the Laser Structuring of the polymer surface. Keeling & Walker offers a range of low coloured StanoStat LDS additives for this application.
Keeling & Walker offers a range of antistatic additives mainly for transparent thin film applications. The StanoStat additives are offered as easily dispersible powders or nanoscale Dispersions. Typically the additives offer low coloration, high transparency and a permanent, not humidity depending, antistatic effect.
Reheating polymers with Infrared Light is facilitated with the help of NIR absorber, which convert the radiation into heat inside the polymer. Keeling & Walker´s IRASORB additives can be either incorporated directly into the polymer during polymerisation reaction or during the compounding step.
