From Turnkey Lasers to Complete Laser Machines For decades Coherent has been developing not only laser sources but also specialized complete laser systems and laser machines for nearly every applications covering laser welding, laser cutting, laser marking & engraving, and various customized laser solutions. With field-proven success, all Coherent products are backed by a worldwide application development and support team, allowing customers to achieve greater productivity, improved results, and reduced operating cost. Coherent – One Source for Laser Machines and Systems.
The Coherent portfolio of industrial laser machines includes a range of compact, high-precision systems for 3D metal printing, cladding, selective layer melting, and direct metal deposition. These systems support diverse dental, medical, jewelry, automotive, and aerospace applications. Whether youre a designer building pre-production prototypes, involved with part repair, tooling, or mold making, or even performing short run production, Coherent has a high-performance solution to meet your needs.
3D metal printing machine for small and medium businesses The Coherent CREATOR 3D metal printer delivers unmatched ease-of-use, economy, and speed for fabricating prototype and short production run components. Priced dramatically lower than traditional 3D metal printing machines, this system can rapidly create parts from a wide range of powdered metal alloys such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, cobalt-chrome, brass, and bronze. The system offers an ideal solution for a wide range of applications, including: - Dental components - Tooling - Mold making - Powder development research
CombiLine Advanced - Marking Solution for Continous Operation
The CombiLine Advanced Laser Marking system is available in different versions either for standing or seated work position, with rotary table (model RT) or work table (model WT). The laser marking system can be equipped with the optimum laser source for designated applications. With motorized axes even marking of workpieces with complex geometry is a breeze. Process visualization through touchscreen ensures maximum ease of use.
The LME-RM Class 1 laser marker workstation platform for both standard and custom applications provides an elegant and efficient solution for marking parts in a production environment. With a variety of standard and custom configurations, the LME-RM workstations can accommodate the most demanding applications. The LME-RM modular workstations offer rugged construction for long-term use, ergonomically correct design and conformance to applicable CDRH Standards for operational safety during use. All 19” components can be integrated into the support frame, and the laser controls are front-mounted for ease of operation. A laser-safe observation window allows monitoring of the marking progress. For easy job setup, the large access door can be configured with an optional pneumatic AutoDoor.
The fifth-generation EasyJewel delivers marking and engraving with unmatched quality and consistency. The integrated vision system allows the operator to see precisely where the mark will be placed before processing, thus ensuring successful results. On-The-Fly-Marking allows for seamless engravings all around rings and large engravings with homogeneous surfaces.
The new EasyMark combines high precision mechanics, a versatile fiber laser, and powerful software to deliver unmatched quality and consistency. The EasyMark features a moving laser head and stationary part platform. This simplifies the design of tooling to hold the part during marking, and also makes it easier and faster to load and unload parts during production.
Coherent was founded in May of 1966. As it was for most companies starting out in the mid-60s, the companys start was modest. With limited financial resources, Coherent established its headquarters in the Palo Alto, CA home of one of its founders. At that time, the most pressing need was for a 220-volt power outlet, which forced Coherents brain trust to build their first laser in a laundry room. In the summer of 1966, next to a washer and dryer, and using a piece of rain gutter as a key component, Coherents founders began building their first laser. Four months later, Coherent unveiled the very first CO2 commercially available laser. Today, Coherent is one of the worlds leading photonics manufacturers and innovators. With headquarters in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, and offices spanning the globe, Coherent offers a unique and distinct product portfolio that touches many different markets and industries.
